Getting started in the world of High Performance Computing can be a daunting task, especially for those
unfamiliar with a command line environment.
Many researchers may also want to perform some degree of visualisation without the hassle of
downloading large files, or the high latency of using a GUI through X11.
In this session a Virtual Desktop environment solution on NeSI is presented. An overview & demo will be
given, and a discussion of what could be coming next will follow.
