The Research Bazaar is a worldwide festival promoting the digital literacy emerging at the
centre of modern research. We and our research community LOVE the usual in-person
cohort event full of digital skills workshops, social activities and amazing food. However, we
have had to adapt over the last two years.
In responding to the uncertainty of lockdowns, the push to deliver/attend online, increasingly
financially challenging environments, and our community needs, we again joined forces to
deliver ResBaz online in 2021 (https://resbaz.auckland.ac.nz).
Building on successes and
lessons learnt from 2020, the 2021 event is expected to be bigger and more diverse -
benefitting from additional planning time!
Laura, Yvette and Matt will share how they collaborated to deliver an online ResBaz - what
worked and what didn’t, and what this experience can contribute to wider scaling and
sustainability issues.
